Expedition 60 flight engineer Christina Koch of NASA captured this image of Hurricane Dorian from the International Space Station on Sept. 2, 2019 as the storm churned over the northwestern Bahamas.

NASA's Terra satellite passed over the northwestern Atlantic Ocean as Dorian reached hurricane status during the afternoon of August 28, 2019.
