The 66th International Astronautical Congress in Jerusalem is over and the 2,100 delegates are heading home. Here, in just over three minutes of video, are highlights from this years Congress. Next year delegates will convene in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Video: Heads of Agencies Plenary

This years International Astronautical Federation Plenary included leaders from NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA), the Federal Space Agency (ROSCOSMOS) of Russia, China's National Space Administration (CNSA), the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and the hosts, the Israel Space Agency (ISA).

One of the highlights of the International Astronautical Congress is the annual Heads of Agencies public forum. In recent years the forum hasn't produced much in the way of substantive discourse. That was not the case this year.

Jerusalem, Israel's capital, welcomed the International space community for the opening ceremony of the 66th International Astronautical Congress this morning. Over 2000 delegates from 58 countries are represented including leaders of many national space agencies.

Israel's space program was born out of military need, but in recent years the civil space program has received an infusion of funding and next week it will host the annual International Astronautical Congress in Jerusalem.
