Tonight's evening sky presents a rare total lunar eclipse that will also be a supermoon. It's an event that won't happen again until 2033 and last happened in 1982. If the sky is clear for you, it's an opportunity not to be missed.

This Sunday, Sep. 27th, the super Harvest Moon will pass through the shadow of Earth, producing a lovely amber total lunar eclipse.

Tonight at 11 p.m. on the west coast or if you're on the east coast at 2 a.m. you'll be able to see the total lunar eclipse. The eclipse will last about three hours.
